Control Management Analyst Job Responsibilities of the Role:
- Assist in investigating and performing root cause analysis to address recurring issues.
- Ensure quality assurance of documentation for specific issues/ORE types, including urgency, severity, and impact analysis.
- Conduct quality checks on the maintenance records and documentation of specific issues/OREs and related remediations, promoting transparency and accountability in the issue management process.
- Identify trends in issues and events related to a specific workstream to detect potential systemic risks or control weaknesses within business unit processes.
- Review data used to create detailed reports on issue status, trends, and results.
- Contribute to sharing insights, best practices, themes, and lessons learned across the organization.
- Provide support for Issue Management Governance activities and assist with other program-related tasks as needed.
Control Management Analyst Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, risk management, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) or certifications are an advantage.
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in process governance with knowledge of processes aligned to policies, regulatory frameworks, and operational standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, recognize trends, and effectively evaluate risk scenarios.
- Practical experience in reporting and data analytics, including developing reports from large datasets and designing meaningful dashboards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to convert data into clear, easy-to-understand charts and visual representations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to craft compelling narratives.
