Assistant Manager MEP Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Take full responsibility for tasks related to air conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation, and associated MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services.
- Supervise all aspects of project electrification, including construction, internal and external electrical works, coordination with MSEDCL/Reliance/Tata Power, and the installation of elevators.
- Oversee the complete plumbing infrastructure for the project, encompassing automation systems, STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), firefighting setups, and pumping mechanisms.
- Collaborate with in-house architects to develop MEP drawings and finalize BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
- Work with the planning team to design timelines and work schedules specific to MEP activities.
- Execute and oversee on-site MEP work, ensuring seamless coordination with building engineers and adherence to established procedures.
- Monitor and report weekly updates on the progress of MEP activities.
- Review and verify drawings, documentation, and quality standards while maintaining comprehensive records to ensure compliance and eliminate non-conformities during audits.
- Approve and certify invoices and bills related to MEP works.
- Determine material requirements for MEP tasks and initiate Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
- Prepare Change Order Forms (COFs) for quantity variations and generate service PRs accordingly.
- Coordinate with liaison teams to manage statutory approvals and regulatory requirements for infrastructure electrification.
Assistant Manager MEP Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in managing MEP systems, including air conditioning, plumbing, electrical systems, firefighting equipment, and pumping mechanisms.
- Strong expertise in MEP design, drawing reviews, and BOQ preparation.
- Competence in developing and tracking project schedules and timelines.
- Exceptional coordination skills for effective collaboration with internal departments and external agencies.
- Familiarity with quality assurance standards and documentation protocols for MEP work.
- Proficiency in certifying invoices and handling procurement processes for materials and services related to MEP.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations and liaison procedures for infrastructure electrification.
- Strong communication abilities paired with excellent problem-solving skills.
