Mastercard Legal Services Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete lifecycle of contract preparation and execution for a designated portfolio of transactions.
- Handle incoming contract requests, ensuring compliance with established business policies, procedures, and processes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate standard vendor and commercial agreements, including but not limited to confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements, software licensing, support services, consulting services, and other related contracts.
- Collaborate with business unit clients and subject matter experts to prepare, revise, and finalize agreements.
- Evaluate contract requirements, special terms, and conditions to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and organizational standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with GBSC benchmarks, maintaining high standards in quality, response time, and resolution efficiency.
- Consistently meet Service Level Objectives for contract-related services.
Mastercard Legal Services Specialist Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
- Strong legal expertise paired with solid business acumen and advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in managing diverse workloads with tasks of varying complexity and urgency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to work effectively with key legal and business stakeholders.
- Advanced negotiation capabilities.
- Skilled in discerning when to escalate issues and when to exercise independent judgment in reviewing and negotiating contracts.
- Strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with legal systems and business practices across regions such as the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, or other non-Indian jurisdictions.
